We played our very first gig at the Hönnetalhalle in Balve as part of the Trollmusic Concert Evening on the 28th of July. Thus we had the great honor to celebrate the beginning of the Prophecy Fest. The evening stemmed from the friendship between the infamous Trollmusic label and the eminent Prophecy Productions. We’re very grateful they gave us the opportunity to start our live career in such a wonderful way. A big thanks to Thor from Trollmusic and Martin and Stefan from Prophecy! Hail to the good hands of their colleagues and volunteers as well!
The evening started with calm Mirna’s Fling songs, in which set Jasper joined on keys at a couple of songs. Then the trio built on a wall of sound with their other heavier band The Good Hand, after Jasper left the stage. They proved to be a well-oiled machine once more.
We congratulated ourselves in company of both Ingmar and Arjan, who stayed on stage to be with us in ALVENRAD on drums and bass respectively. They did nothing short but a Olympian performance, being on stage from the first till the last song of the evening. We’re proud to the bone we shared the stage with such seasoned musicians! A big thanks to Koen for your vocals and stage antics too. A special thanks goes to soundman Sander.
Thanks to you, our friends and families, for your warm support and taking the journey to the Sauerland, land of thousand hills. It’s more than appreciated. A big kiss to our girlfriends and (yet to be born) children for support during the run-up to be on stage. We salute new friends we met during the festival.
