Hello there,
In the sign of the ravens this part of the website brings you news and backgrounds. Now we like you to pay attention to a brand new song, which was played live in Balve on the eve of the Prophecy Fest ’16.*
The song is entitled ‘De Raven Wodans’ (‘Woden’s Ravens’). It tells you the beginning of the story, that unfolds in Skírnismál. We freely adapted the Norse character names to Dutch the Wagnerian way, but the story remains the same more or less.
The hubristic Froh sits in Woden’s throne. Two ravens report Froh all that happens in the world. At a certain moment he gazes into the land of the giants and sees a beautiful maid. Now great is the melancholy which possesses him, for the desirable maid is thought to be unattainable.
The studio recordings will start in the beginning of 2017. Our new album Heer will see the light next year. It will tell you the story of Skírnismál till the end…
